el que las condiciones f\u00edsicas y mentales proporcionan satisfacci\u00f3n y tranquilidad, se ha convertido en un objetivo clave para las personas.<\/p><p data-start=\"452\" data-end=\"565\">Aunque la percepci\u00f3n del bienestar var\u00eda entre individuos, existe consenso en que se fundamenta en cinco pilares:<\/p><ul data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"737\"><li data-section-id=\"1gdyppn\" data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"596\">Higiene del sue\u00f1o adecuada<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1afmml\" data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"623\">Alimentaci\u00f3n saludable<\/li><li data-end=\"1252\">El aumento de la esperanza de vida tambi\u00e9n ha impulsado la investigaci\u00f3n de alimentos que contribuyan a reducir enfermedades cardiovasculares, osteoporosis y c\u00e1ncer.<\/p><h2 data-section-id=\"b1fwwd\" data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1292\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 son los alimentos funcionales?<\/h2><p data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1369\">El concepto de alimento funcional surge como evoluci\u00f3n del \u201calimento sano\u201d.<\/p><p data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1406\">Un alimento funcional es aquel que:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1550\"><li data-section-id=\"1bhpof5\" data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1461\">Ha sido modificado o contiene ingredientes activos<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1xppvbc\" data-start=\"1462\"
